In February, we continued our tradition of getting involved in good causes and chose a particularly nice initiative – making martenitsas for premature babies.
This time, our little team building took on the form of a creative workshop. Balls of yarn and beads unfolded in the office, and childhood memories simply poured in – about grandmothers, about martenitsas, about skillful hands, about the most beautiful Pijo and Penda we have ever seen.
Knitting turned out to be not only useful, but also surprisingly unifying. Everyone made something different – smiling, crooked, precise or colorful. It seemed as if a part of the person who made it had slipped into each martenitsa.
We collected them all, packed them with lots of love, and sent them – to the little ones who are struggling the most and to their parents who certainly need that little smile.
